Co-Infections

  • Co-infections

Co-infections

Over 95% of people with Lyme disease are co-infected infected with other bacteria or parasites. Co-infections complicate both diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease and the co-infection directly.

A useful co-infection symptom chart is available to review and compare various co-infections.

A very brief overview of the common co-infections can be found below:

  • Babesiosis
  • Bartonella
  • Ehrlichiosis
  • Mycoplasma Fermentans
