Lyme Warrior Boxes
The LDAA’s Lyme Warrior Box (LWB) project aims to support children fighting the disease and to let them know they aren’t alone.
Lyme Warrior Boxes can be sent to Lyme patients aged 3-17 across the country. The boxes will contain information to assist young people in building connections with support services and provide items that will assist them to get through their treatment.
The LWB project is co-ordinated by LDAA Ambassador, former AgriFutures Australian Rural Woman of the Year and Lyme patient Tanya Dupagne, who was diagnosed with Lyme in 2019.
“I can’t provide them with a cure, but what I can do is let them know they aren’t alone and that someone understands their journey.”
